Veils
"I don’t want to wear a veil. It’s too traditional/fluffy-looking/fussy/formal/fill in your own adjective.” Not so! We can make a chic modern veil, a soft and flowing veil, an elegantly simple veil, a veil you’d be happy to wear - just give us a chance. The wedding veil or headpiece completes your total bridal look, and you don’t want your look to stop at your neck.

Many bridal salons offer ready-to-wear veils in a range of colors, cuts and embellishments, but The Delicate Veil custom-makes every bespoke veil based on a personal consultation with you. This ensures that your fingertip-length veil really meets your own fingertips, not someone else’s!

The veils and accessories featured here are just a sample of what we can do. We love a challenge, so no request is too extreme. In the past we’ve restored antique fabrics, rescued veil-less brides at the last minute, and designed headpieces that can be taken apart and rearranged for the reception. Take a look at our current features for some inspiration. Remember – these are just examples. White ribbon can be substituted for blue, you can have sequins all over it if you want, it can be square instead of round – you’re the boss.

Point: The angle-cut or point-shaped veil draws attention to the back of the gown.  Shown here edged in white soutache, it can be made to any custom specification, of course. For a little bit of sparkle, our bride is wearing a comb-tiara made of white pearl beads and very pale rose crystals, great for a rum-pink gown or to add a little subtle color to your ensemble. Want a touch of pale blue, soft green, even red? Just ask.
